Job Description

REPORTING TO/DEPARTMENT: Reports to the Global HR Leader.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

HR Operations & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with applicable employment legislation, works council requirements, data privacy regulations (GDPR), and company policies across EMEA.
  • Lead and coordinate internal and external HR audits, including documentation reviews, corrective actions, and ongoing compliance monitoring.
  • Maintain employment records and HR documentation in accordance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Partner with local legal counsel and external advisors on labor law matters and compliance updates.
  • Monitor changes in employment legislation across EMEA countries and drive implementation of required policy and process updates.
  • Support immigration and work authorization processes where applicable.
  • Manage employee lifecycle administration, including hires, transfers, promotions, contract amendments, and terminations.

Employee Relations

  • Serve as the primary HR contact for employee relations matters across the region.
  • Conduct workplace investigations and provide recommendations for resolution consistent with company policies and local employment laws.
  • Provide guidance to managers on performance management, disciplinary actions, policy interpretation, and employee concerns.
  • Support reduction-in-force activities, restructurings, and organizational changes from a compliance and execution perspective.
  • Manage leave administration and accommodations in accordance with country-specific requirements.

HR Programs & Process Excellence

  • Execute performance management, employee engagement, and talent review processes across EMEA.
  • Coordinate employee onboarding and offboarding activities.
  • Drive process standardization and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support HR system data integrity and reporting requirements.
  • Ensure completion of required employee training and compliance certifications.

Reporting & Workforce Analytics

  • Produce regular HR metrics and reporting for regional and global leadership teams.
  • Monitor compliance-related metrics and identify areas of risk.
  • Maintain workforce data accuracy and support audit requests.
  • Analyze employee relations and turnover trends to identify opportunities for improvement.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 7+ years of progressive Human Resources experience with a significant focus on EMEA HR operations and compliance.
  • Experience supporting multiple countries across Europe, the Middle East, and/or Africa.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of employment law, employee relations, compliance, and HR administration.
  • Experience managing HR audits, investigations, and regulatory compliance activities.
  • Experience working within a U.S.-based multinational organization preferred.
  • Experience with Works Councils, employee representative bodies, and GDPR requirements strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge & Skills: Strong understanding of EMEA employment regulations and labor practices.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced global environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Fluency in English, French & German required; additional European language skills are advantageous.
