Job summary

MEDLOG Transport & Logistics, a part of the MSC Group, invites an experienced Area Manager in Geneva to oversee MEDLOG entities across the region and drive strategic initiatives. You will monitor performance, support business development, and ensure adherence to MEDLOG and MSC guidelines while coordinating with multilingual teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years in intermodal or freight-forwarding.
• Experience in containerized inland transportation.
• Strong understanding of financial statements and data.
• Independent and highly visible in a senior role.
• Proven ability to negotiate contracts and resolve disputes diplomatically.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement regional strategy for the assigned area.
• Monitor operational and financial performance and report to MEDLOG senior management.
• Oversee procurement processes and HR structures aligned with strategy.
• Coach management teams and provide cross-functional support across MSC and MEDLOG.
• Ensure compliance with local/global regulations and risk management practices.
