Destinus is shaping the future of defense aerospace by developing high-performance radar systems for UAVs. As a Radar System Engineer, you will define system requirements and drive trade-offs across HW, SW and signal processing to meet demanding SWaP-C constraints.

You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to model bistatic radar behavior, simulate system performance, and write clear specifications.

Qualifikationen

• Deep understanding of TX/RX architectures and building blocks.
• Behavioral models of RF/analog blocks, preferably in Python.
• Waveform design and digital communication principles.
• Good understanding of radar signal processing.
• Experience with bistatic radar is a plus.
• Knowledge of FPGA devices is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Behavioral modelling of bistatic radar systems.
• System level simulation to predict system performance based on key metrics (e.g. SNR, resolution parameters).
• Validation of the system model against measurements.
• RX and TX architecture.
• Writing requirements and specifications.
• Lead system level studies across domains: HW, SW, signal processing, mechanical.
• Collaborate with RF design, digital design, SW engineering and signal processing as well as mechanical engineering.
