Board International is hiring a detail-oriented Software Engineer for the Chiasso R&D team. You will develop, test, and document software components, translating requirements into technical specs while collaborating with Product Managers and other Developers.

The role emphasizes clean code, continuous learning, and teamwork in a global organization delivering analytics and forecasting solutions.

Qualifikationen

• Academic background in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent.
• Working knowledge of Angular/AngularJs, TypeScript, HTML & CSS.
• Experience with unit/integration testing.
• Knowledge of ASP.NET 4.8/Core, C#, Web API 2 and SOLID principles is preferable.
• Experience with Azure Cloud, Kubernetes/Docker is a plus.
• Fluency in English.

Aufgaben

• Handle software development, evaluation and definition of specific functionalities, design and coding of components.
• Translate requirements into technical specifications for software development.
• Participate in the drafting of the structure and application design of the system.
• Produce clean, efficient code based on specifications.
• Recommend and initiate improvements.
• Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing software.
• Create technical documentation for reference and reporting.
