Job summary

Proclinical is seeking an R&D Assembly Technician to join our client's team in the US. The role supports early-stage development and assembly of medical devices, performing manual and semi-automated assembly in a cleanroom environment.

Based in Acton, MA, the position is on-site, Monday to Friday, with standard 8:00 am to 5:00 pm hours, and requires precision, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn within a GMP/ISO-regulated setting.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required; 3+ years in manufacturing, R&D, or assembly tech/operator role.
• Experience in medical devices or cleanroom environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform manual and semi-automated assembly of small, intricate components.
• Operate and maintain basic manufacturing and inspection equipment in a cleanroom or lab environment.
• Follow detailed work instructions, assembly drawings, and process documentation.
• Record observations, process data, and build outcomes for engineering analysis.
• Collaborate with engineers to share feedback and assist process refinement.
• Assist in setup and troubleshooting of assembly fixtures and semi-automated tools.
• Support documentation of learnings, deviations, and process updates as needed.
