Akkodis, part of The Adecco Group, is seeking an R&D Hardware Engineer to join our Electrification team in Switzerland. You will work on High Power UPS product lines, contributing to design, validation, and manufacturing support.

The role offers hybrid work with one day remote per week, requires a strong foundation in electrical engineering and hands-on PCB design, with fluency in English and Italian. You will collaborate with global teams to drive ongoing improvements.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in electrical engineering.
• 2+ years experience with electrical systems and complex power electronic systems.
• Sound knowledge in designing digital and analog electronic circuits, circuit diagrams, and simulation tools.
• Experience with PCB design and microelectronic component selection.
• Advanced knowledge of PCB design tools, such as Altium, Allegro, etc.
• Familiar with oscilloscopes, function generators, current and voltage generator, power analyzer and other test equipment.
• Comprehensive knowledge of ECN's (Engineering Change Notifications), BOM's (Bill of Materials), and documentation systems.
• Experience with failure investigations and RCCA (Root Cause & Corrective Action Analysis).
• Knowledge in environmental, reliability, and safety requirements for Industrial products a plus.
• Knowledge and experience with Agile methodology is a plus.
• Fluent in English and Italian, spoken and written.

Mansioni

• Perform a variety of complex technology and engineering assignments using advanced and innovative techniques.
• Carry out design activities related to product optimization and lifecycle management (modifying or enhancing existing features or performances, alternative component validation, actively scan for end-of-life components, etc.)
• Validate design through required calculations and simulations.
• Manage ECN's (Engineering Change Notifications) and BOM's (Bill of Materials)
• Generate technical documentation and reports, technical drawings.
• Engineering support for manufacturing activities related to existing product lines.
