Job summary

BeOne Medicines seeks an experienced Director, R&D Counsel to provide strategic legal support for European and New Markets programs across clinical development, data use, privacy and vendor arrangements. You will partner with Regulatory, Clinical Development, Global Clinical Operations and Safety to mitigate risks and enable rapid product advancement.

Qualifications

• Law degree or equivalent professional legal qualification with authorization to practice.
• 7+ years of relevant legal experience in pharma, biotech or life sciences.
• Experience advising on clinical development and data/privacy issues in Europe.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely legal advice to European and New Markets R&D teams.
• Draft and negotiate a broad range of R&D contracts including clinical trial and vendor agreements.
• Advise on regional implementation of global policies with local-law adaptations.
• Monitor regulatory developments and communicate actionable guidance to stakeholders.
• Support inspections, audits and remediation activities as needed.
