Job summary

HS Hyosung Luxembourg S.A. is seeking a Q-Tech Leader to drive the quality management system and continuous improvement across production and support functions.

The role focuses on ISO 9001 compliance, customer requirements, and building a high-performing quality team. Based in Colmar-Berg, Luxembourg, the position offers a permanent contract and opportunities to influence cross-functional quality initiatives.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Engineering Sciences or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in QHSE or process improvement in manufacturing.
• Knowledge of IATF 16949 is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and improve the QMS in line with ISO 9001 and company standards.
• Lead, coach, and develop the quality team to meet performance goals.
• Ensure product compliance with customer and regulatory requirements.
• Plan and conduct internal audits; coordinate external audits and certifications.
• Handle customer complaints and drive timely corrective actions.
• Drive new product development and industrialization to meet requirements.
• Promote continuous improvement initiatives across departments.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Production, Maintenance, Engineering, Procurement, IT, etc.
• Conduct risk assessments (PFMEA, control plans) across production.
• Monitor Quality KPIs and support management with data-driven insights.
• Ensure supplier quality for raw materials.

Role Overview

The Q-Tech Leader leads the implementation and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring compliance with regulations, customer requirements, and ISO standards. The role drives a culture of quality and operational excellence while leading and developing the quality team.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and continuously improve the QMS in line with ISO 9001 and company standards
• Lead, coach, and develop the quality team to achieve performance and quality objectives
• Ensure product compliance with customer and regulatory requirements
• Plan and conduct internal audits; coordinate external audits and certifications
• Handle customer complaints and ensure timely resolution
• Manage non-conformities, lead root cause analysis, and ensure effective corrective actions
• Drive and manage new products development and industrialization to meet customer requirements
• Promote continuous improvement initiatives across departments
• Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments (Production, Maintenance, Engineering, Procurement, IT, etc.) to achieve quality objectives
• Conduct risk assessments (e.g., PFMEA, control plans) across the production cycle
• Monitor Quality Key Performance Indicators and support management decision-making through data-driven insights
• Ensure supplier quality for raw materials
• Maintain quality documentation, procedures, and product specifications
• Represent the company during customer visits, audits, and technical reviews

Your Profile

Education & Experience

• Master degree in Engineering Sciences, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in QHSE, or in process and continuous improvement, preferably in a manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of the IATF 16949 standard is an asset
