Lonza Group Ltd. is seeking a senior leader to head the QA Material Management & Supply Chain team in Stein, Switzerland. The role focuses on GMP-compliant material lifecycle management from sourcing to release and QA oversight of warehousing practices.

You will drive supplier quality, implement improvements, and collaborate across QA, QC, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing in a site-based setting. The ideal candidate brings extensive QA in pharma GMP, a background in material management and supply

Qualifikationen

• Experience leading QA and supply chain teams in pharma GMP environments.
• Strong relationships with difficult stakeholders and cross-functional groups.
• Academic background in a related field; fluent in English; German a plus.

Aufgaben

• Lead, develop, and manage the QA Material Management & Supply Chain team across seniority levels.
• Ensure GMP compliance across raw materials and primary packaging from sourcing to release.
• Provide QA oversight for raw material release and warehousing practices.
• Govern warehouse and logistics processes, including goods receipt, material flow, and master data integrity.
• Oversee supplier quality management, including supplier qualification and performance monitoring.
• Lead lifecycle management of new materials and suppliers with GMP alignment.
• Review and approve critical QA documentation (specifications, SOPs, deviations, changes).
• Act as escalation point for complex quality issues related to materials, suppliers, and supply chain.
• Support audits and inspections across local supplier management, material processes, and logistics.
• Drive continuous improvement, KPI management, and cross-functional collaboration across QA, QC, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing.
