Zusammenfassung

Helvetic Payroll is assisting in recruitment for an on-site QA/QC Inspector in Switzerland for a large-scale energy sector project. The role demands independent inspection of electrical and mechanical equipment and rigorous adherence to quality standards.

You will perform incoming inspections, verify conformance, manage non-conformities and liaise with quality, engineering and supplier teams in a high-criticality environment.

Qualifikationen

• Solid experience in QA/QC inspection of electrical and/or mechanical equipment.
• Strong knowledge of quality control procedures, incoming inspection and supplier follow-up.
• Experience in demanding industrial sectors: energy, Oil & Gas, nuclear, heavy industry.
• Experience with HVDC/HVAC cables or manufacturing inspection is a strong asset.
• Experience in the nuclear field is particularly valued.

On behalf of one of our clients: As part of a large-scale industrial project in the energy sector, we are looking for an experienced QA/QC Inspector in electrical and/or mechanical equipment for an on-site mission in Switzerland. The role takes place in a high-criticality environment with rigorous quality requirements.

Your Responsibilities

• Incoming inspection of components and equipment (transformers, cables, motors, UPS, electrical switchboards...)
• Completion and validation of incoming inspection and control sheets
• Verification of product characteristic compliance against applicable specifications and standards
• Manufacturing follow-up and expediting when required
• Drafting of inspection reports and management of non-conformities
• Liaison with quality, engineering and supplier teams

Practical information

• Location: 100% on-site
• Duration: Immediate start until end of December 2026

Candidate profile

Technical skills

• Solid experience in QA/QC inspection of electrical and/or mechanical equipment: transformers, HV/LV cables, motors, MCC panels, UPS...
• Strong knowledge of quality control procedures, incoming inspection and supplier follow-up
• Experience in demanding industrial sectors: energy, Oil & Gas, nuclear, heavy industry
• Experience with HVDC/HVAC cables or manufacturing inspection is a strong asset
• Experience in the nuclear field is particularly valued

Languages
