Zusammenfassung

AMAC Aerospace Switzerland AG is seeking a Purchaser Coordinator to join our Basel‑Mulhouse‑Freiburg hangar operations. You will create and process purchase requests in AMOS, source aviation parts, and evaluate supplier quotes to ensure timely, compliant deliveries.

You will track orders, manage AOG and critical items, and maintain accurate purchasing records while collaborating with Maintenance Planning, Engineering, Stores, and Quality.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s or equivalent in supply chain, aviation management, or related field.
• Experience in purchasing or supply chain; aviation logistics/MRO experience is a plus.
• Hands‑on AMOS ERP usage is highly desirable; training experience is valuable.
• Basic understanding of aircraft parts, ATA chapters, and MRO processes is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Create, process, and manage purchase requests and orders within AMOS.
• Support sourcing aircraft parts, consumables, tooling, and repair/overhaul services.
• Request and evaluate supplier quotations; ensure compliance with approved vendor lists and documentation.
• Track deliveries, manage order status, and assist with AOG and critical orders.
• Maintain purchasing data in AMOS (pricing, lead times, shipping method, INCOTERM, supplier records).
• Upload required compliance docs (EASA Form 1, FAA 8130‑3, Certificates of Conformity).
• Liaise with Maintenance Planning, Engineering, Stores, Quality, Sales and Logistics to support workflows.
• Assist in supplier performance tracking and procurement improvement projects.

Job Description

Your daily tasks & responsibilities

• Create, process and manage purchase requests and various order types within AMOS
• Support in sourcing aircraft parts, consumables, tooling, and repair/overhaul services
• Request and evaluate supplier quotations, ensuring compliance with approved vendor lists, requested delivery date and certification documents
• Track deliveries, follow up on order status, and help manage AOG and critical orders
• Ensure correct entry and maintenance of purchasing and supply data in AMOS, including pricing, lead times, shipping method, appropriate INCOTERM and supplier records
• Check and upload required documentation (e.g. EASA Form 1, FAA 8130‑3, Certificates of Conformity) for compliance and traceability
• Liaise with Maintenance Planning, Engineering, Stores, Quality, Sales and Logistics to support smooth operational workflows
• Assist in supplier performance tracking and contribute to procurement improvement projects

The expertise you have & skills you bring

• Vocational training or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Aviation Management, or a related field
• Experience in purchasing or supply chain; experience in aviation logistics or MRO is an advantage
• Hands‑on experience with AMOS ERP (user-level) is highly desirable; training experience is also valuable
• Basic understanding of aircraft parts, ATA chapters, and MRO processes is a plus
• Strong attention to detail, particularly when handling technical and compliance documents
• Good verbal and written communication skills in the English language
• Proficiency with MS Office tools, especially Excel
• Confident use of English, French and German is an advantage
• Proactive problem‑solving skills and ability to work in a fast‑paced, time‑critical environment
• Staying well organized and able to handle several projects even during "stressful" period
