Zusammenfassung

WHO - World Health Organization in Geneva is seeking an experienced nutrition and public health specialist to support CMN policy development and implementation. You will engage with partner organizations to harmonize policies and provide scientific and policy advice to Member States for CMN.

The role includes coordinating guidance and tools for national intersectoral CMN programs, developing advocacy materials, and reporting to senior management.

Qualifikationen

• Essential: Master’s level degree in nutrition, public health, or related field.
• Desirable: Additional postgraduate training in public health or public policies.
• At least 7 years in public health nutrition or related field, with 4 years international experience.
• Experience translating science into policy and developing scientific documents.

Aufgaben

• Engage with partners to harmonize policies and implement WHO guidance on CMN.
• Provide scientific, technical, and policy advice to Member States for CMN policies and programs.
• Coordinate development of scientific guidance and tools for national intersectoral CMN policies.
• Develop advocacy materials, curricula, and tools to improve CMN outreach globally.
• Ensure timely reporting to senior management and partners on CMN policy adoption and obesity trends.
• Collaborate with communities of practice to discuss implementation issues.
• Support capacity building in health systems via WHO Academy courses and clinician training.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
