Job summary

UZH Alumni is seeking a motivated Project Manager Engineering or Lead Engineer to lead converter projects from sales to completion. You will ensure on-time, on-budget delivery in line with quality requirements and coordinate diverse teams and external partners.

Ideal candidates have a Master’s in electrical or mechanical engineering, 5+ years in engineering project execution, and strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills in English (German a plus).

Qualifications

• Master's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in project execution within an engineering environment.
• Experience with power systems and converter systems is a plus.
• Proven track record in managing complex engineering projects.
• PMP or equivalent certification is an advantage.
• Fluency in English is required; German is a plus.

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Project Manager Engineering or Lead Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will lead and manage converter system projects from sales/tender phase to initiation and through to completion, ensuring Engineering deliverables are on time, within budget, and in line with quality requirements.

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of projects in Engineering within defined timelines and budgets
• Lead the technical solution development during sales and tender phase for Engineering.
