Humanis AG is seeking a Program Manager / Research Associate to strengthen its knowledge and modelling infrastructure. You will design and maintain monitoring indicator systems and automate knowledge databases, enabling scalable, data-driven decision support across global portfolios.

The role combines rigorous economic research, statistical modelling, and the development of reproducible workflows, with emphasis on transparency and methodological soundness.

  • Design and maintain monitoring indicator systems to track progress across diverse programmatic portfolios.
  • Build, automate, and document structured knowledge databases and reporting tools using reproducible workflows and version control.
  • Support the integration of retrieval-augmented generation architectures and database-backed systems.
  • Contribute to quarterly indicator updates and milestone tracking processes.
  • Design and estimate modelling templates for expected programmatic outcomes.
  • Develop structured elicitation protocols and expert-judgment frameworks.
  • Build and apply statistical modelling workflows for country case studies, including specification, estimation, validation, and aggregation.
  • Translate modelling outputs into rigorous, decision-oriented analytical reports.
  • Contribute to the development and communication of research agendas.
  • Ensure high standards of reproducibility, documentation, and methodological transparency.

A global knowledge and analytics team is seeking a highly motivated Program Manager / Research Associate to strengthen its analytical, modelling, and knowledge?infrastructure capabilities.
The role combines rigorous economic research, statistical modelling, and the development of scalable, data?driven systems that support strategic decision?making across global and country?level portfolios. The successful candidate will contribute to the design, implementation, and refinement of indicator systems, forecasting models, and knowledge?management tools. The position sits at the intersection of research, data engineering, and strategic analysis, helping build the methodological backbone of the organization’s monitoring and evaluation architecture.

Your tasks
  • Design and maintain monitoring?indicator systems to track progress across diverse programmatic portfolios.
  • Build, automate, and document structured knowledge databases and reporting tools using reproducible workflows and version control.
  • Support the integration of retrieval?augmented generation architectures and database?backed systems.

Your profile
  • Master’s degree in economics, statistics, or a closely related quantitative discipline.
  • Minimum five years of relevant professional experience.
  • Demonstrated experience as a Research Assistant or in a comparable analytical role.
  • Proven track record in statistical modelling and empirical research.
  • Programming proficiency in R and Python.
  • Strong command of advanced statistical techniques.
  • Basic knowledge of SQL.
  • Familiarity with Stan, PyMC, or comparable Bayesian modelling frameworks.
  • Experience with reproducible research tools (e.g., Git, Quarto).
  • Familiarity with database systems (e.g., DuckDB) and API integrations.
  • Fluency in English required.
  • German proficiency at B1/B2 level highly desirable.
  • Spanish proficiency at minimum B1 level desirable.
  • French highly welcome
