Job summary

University of Fribourg invites applications for a position to teach microbiology with a (bio)medical focus at the Bachelor level for Medicine and Biomedical Sciences students, and to contribute to the Master program. The candidate will lead an externally funded, internationally recognized research program.

Qualified MD or PhD holders with a proven teaching track record and the ability to work in a bilingual environment (French/German) are preferred.

Qualifications

• Outstanding track record of research in microbiology relevant to human health and medical sciences.
• Ability to develop an internationally recognized research program sustained by external funding.
• Relevant teaching experience at university level is expected.

Responsibilities
