Mikron Automation is seeking a Production Planning Analyst to ensure feasibility and execution of the production plan, balancing priorities, capacity and material availability. You will lead workload planning, release orders, and monitor progress with a focus on on‑time delivery in a global engineering environment.

The role requires a higher education in Supply Chain Management, hands-on scheduling experience, and fluent French and English.

• Prepare weekly and daily workload plans for each workshop
• Facilitate and lead workshops meetings
• Release production orders per workload plan
• Monitor progress of production orders and assist in bottlenecks
• Identify delays and deviations from customer demand
• Anticipate shortages and manage safety buffers
• Reschedule in response to changes in demand per priority rules
• Monitor workshop capacity and anticipate bottlenecks
• Analyze differences between planned and actual results

Job Description

The Production planning Analyst ensures the feasibility and execution of the production plan, taking into account customer priorities, capacity constraints, and material availability. They anticipate risks and secure customer demand. They optimize the use of resources and storage space while meeting customer delivery dates.

• Prepare the weekly and daily workload plan for each workshop.
• Facilitate and lead meetings with the workshops
• Release production orders according to the workload plan defined and approved by the stakeholders
• Monitor the progress of production orders and support the workshops in the event of a blockage
• Identify workshop delays and deviations from customer demand
• Anticipate critical shortages and manage safety buffers in collaboration with the relevant departments
• Reschedule in the event of unforeseen circumstances or changes in demand, in accordance with established priority rules
• Monitor changes in workshop capacity and anticipate bottlenecks
• Analyze differences between planned and actual results
• Conduct scenario analyses based on demand forecasts

Your profile

• Higher education qualification (ES or HES) in Supply Chain Management
• Experience in production scheduling and planning
• Languages: French and English required
• Organized, thorough, and methodical
• Strong analytical skills and a highly developed ability to anticipate
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills in a collaborative environment
• Experience with SAP ERP is an advantage
