Job summary

Randstad Switzerland is seeking a Production Operator for an on-site role in Luzern, to join the Biologics Manufacturing Science and Operations team. You will perform GMP-compliant operator activities in W&D and Solution Supply, support sampling, batch records, and equipment readiness in a GMP environment.

Qualified candidates have at least 3 years of GMP manufacturing experience (biotech/pharma preferred), strong GDP/ALCOA+ knowledge, and German/English language skills.

• Strong GDP and ALCOA+ principles knowledge.
• Experience working in cleanroom environments.
• German and English required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine operator activities within Weigh & Dispense and Solution Supply areas in GMP compliance.
• Support sampling, material handling, and batch records per SOPs.
• Assist with equipment setup, line clearance, and disassembly of single-use systems.
• Support calibration, cleaning, and routine maintenance.
• Ensure manufacturing room readiness and accurate GMP documentation.

Job description

For one of our clients, an international pharmaceutical company, we are seeking a Production Operator.

General Information:

• End Date: 30.11.2027
• Home office: No, 100% onsite

About the work:

You will be part of the Biologics Manufacturing Science and Operations department, in particular Drug Substance Bioprocess.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Perform routine operator activities within the Weigh & Dispense (W&D) and Solution Supply Areas, in strict adherence to GMP and GDocP requirements
• Perform routine operational support activities within USP and DSP manufacturing areas
• Execute sampling activities in accordance with approved sampling plans, SOPs, and batch records
• Support equipment setup, preparation, and line clearance
• Assist with assembly and disassembly of single-use systems and process equipment
• Support equipment cleaning activities and ensure manufacturing room readiness
• Perform and support washer and autoclave activities in compliance with validated cycles and procedures
• Support calibration and routine maintenance activities
• Support material staging, transfers, inspection, and inventory checks
• Accurately complete GMP documentation (batch records, logbooks, electronic systems)
• Identify and elevate deviations, safety observations, and abnormal situations
• Support audits, inspections, and internal walkthroughs as required

Requirements:

• Technical or scientific vocational training (e.g., Biotechnology, Chemistry, Lab Technician)
