Liebherr Machines Bulle SA in Bulle, Switzerland seeks a Product Safety Specialist (m/f/x) to drive risk assessment in line with EN ISO 12100 and ensure safety across machinery and systems.

You will coordinate with engineering and other departments, translate international safety requirements into practical solutions, and communicate with customers on safety topics for specific projects.

Qualifikationen

• Completed technical education or vocational training in a relevant field.
• Several years of experience in an industrial environment, ideally machinery or heavy‑duty equipment.
• Broad technical understanding: drawings, mechanical design, hardware/software development.
• Practical knowledge of product safety and risk assessment, incl. EN ISO 12100.
• Strong understanding of international product safety requirements and practical translations.
• Curious, eager to learn, and able to work beyond initial area of expertise.
• Confident and assertive in discussions, constructive and solution‑oriented.
• Autonomous, with a clear focus on targets.
• Team player, focused on safety goals in the Risk Assessment.

Your Responsibilities

• You apply and promote risk assessment processes in accordance with ENISO12100 and ensure their consistent application
• You coordinate the implementation of product risk assessments in collaboration with engineering and other relevant departments
• You ensure the implementation of applicable product safety requirements, guidelines and standards

Your Profile

• You have completed technical education or vocational training in a relevant field
• You have several years of professional experience in an industrial environment, ideally in machinery or heavy‑duty equipment, basic knowledge in combustion engine technologies is an advantage
• You have a broad technical understanding covering areas such as technical drawings, mechanical design, hardware/software development and other relevant technologies
• You have practical knowledge of product safety and risk assessment, including experience with ENISO12100
• You have a good understanding of international product safety requirements and can translate them into practical solutions
• You are curious, eager to learn and comfortable working beyond your initial area of expertise
• You are confident and assertive in discussions, while remaining constructive and solution-oriented
• You are used to work autonomously, focused on clear targets
• You are team player with focus, finding together the best solution while maintaining the safety goals as defined in the Risk Assessment
