Swiss Polymers AG in Zug, Switzerland, is seeking a motivated Product Manager for Polymers and Plastics to support growth. You will report to the CEO and collaborate with international producers and customers to steer the product portfolio.

Responsibilities include P&L ownership for defined products, negotiating terms, managing inventory, and coordinating with Sales, Logistics, Finance and Credit Management. Fluent English is essential; German is a plus.

Qualifikationen

• 3+ years experience in international plastics distribution.
• Eligible to work in Switzerland.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to build relationships and focus on profit.
• Strong knowledge of plastic markets, market dynamics, contracts, and risk management.
• Ability to structure innovative solutions to meet commercial strategy within Credit, Risk, and Legal guidelines.
• Existing network with counterparties and strong commercial/analytical skills.
• Fluent English; German is a plus.
• Team player mentality.

Aufgaben

• Develop and maintain relationships with international producers and customers.

• Manage inventory, trading positions, margins and commercial risks.
• Monitor market developments and identify new business opportunities.
• Coordinate closely with Sales, Logistics, Finance and Credit Management.

Product Manager Polymers and Plastics

As a Product Manager you will be responsible for the following (but not limited) tasks:

• Full P&L responsibility for defined product/s
• Purchase and sell polymers such as PE, PP, PET, PVC or EVA – directly and through our international network
• Develop and maintain relationships with international producers and customers
• Negotiate prices, volumes, payment and delivery terms
• Manage inventory, trading positions, margins and commercial risks
• Monitor market developments and identify new business opportunities
• Coordinate closely with Sales, Logistics, Finance and Credit Management

Your qualifications:

• 3+ years relevant working experience in international plastics distribution business
• Eligible to work in Switzerland
• Entrepreneurial mindset, able to build fruitful relationships with third parties, profit focused individual and able to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Strong knowledge of the plastic markets including market dynamics, contract structuring and negotiations, transportation and storage contracts and operations, nomination procedures, operational risks, market risks and counterparty requirements
• Ability to structure innovative solutions to achieve Commercial Strategy in compliance with strict Credit, Risk and Legal guidelines
• Existing network and good relationships with counterparties
• Excellent commercial and analytical skills
• Strong communication skills in English, German is a plus
• Team player mentality
