Qualifikationen

• Education: Technical degree in Chemistry, Polymer Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, or a related field.
• Experience: Proven experience in industrial product management, ideally within polymers or advanced materials.
• Business Acumen: Strong financial and strategic mindset; formal product management training is a plus.
• Skills: Strong analytical capabilities, structured problem-solving, and the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and commercial teams.
• Languages & Mobility: Fluent in English (German is a strong plus); willingness to travel internationally.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership (50%):

• Develop and implement mid- and long-term product strategies aligned with company and market priorities.
• Own the global P&L for the product family, ensuring volume and profitability targets are met.
• Conduct market, competitive, and trend analyses to establish target applications, market segments, and clear product positioning.
• Build comprehensive product roadmaps covering innovation, pricing, and lifecycle strategy.
• Partner with R&D and Application Development to drive innovation from concept through global market introduction.

Operational Execution (50%):

• Optimise existing portfolio performance and monitor market/customer developments.
• Steer operational pricing, manage price lists, and evaluate pricing requests.
• Coordinate product launches, including technical documentation, approvals, and cross-functional execution.
• Support product availability, supply reliability, and quality management alongside Production and Supply Chain teams.
• Prepare datasheets, brochures, and sales presentations, and lead internal/external training sessions.
• Perform regular customer visits, participate in trade fairs/events, and support global key accounts.
