On Zurich HQ is launching its first Product Archive and seeks a visionary Archive Lead to drive the initiative from vision to operation. You will steward design heritage across physical collections and digital repositories, enabling access, research, and inspiration for designers across the organization.

You will collaborate with Design and Product teams to create high-value workflows, establish standards, and steward budgets and external partnerships in a fast-growing environment.

Qualifikationen

• Heritage or cultural expert with archive management experience (6–8 years).
• Meticulous and precise inventory and data handling skills.
• Ability to design and manage complex archival systems and metadata standards.
• Strong collaboration across IT, Design and Marketing teams.
• Narrative-driven ability to translate history into actionable insights for design.
• Autonomous, strategic self-starter capable of multi-year budgeting and vendor management.

Aufgaben

• Establish and execute a holistic archive strategy and collection criteria.
• Oversee physical stewardship of collections, depot planning, and conservation.
• Lead digital repository architecture and metadata standards for searchability.
• Bridge past and future by enabling access to historical references for seasonal concepts.
• Collaborate on cultural engagement and exhibit planning with internal teams.
• Manage budget, vendor relationships, and IT partnerships to ensure service quality.
