ABB Switzerland is seeking a proactive Procurement Specialist to optimize the supply chain, manage supplier relationships, and ensure competitive, sustainable products. The role reports to the Procurement & Logistics Manager and involves hybrid work arrangements.

You will design and implement purchasing strategies, track KPIs, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet business requirements while driving cost, quality, and delivery improvements.

Qualifikationen

• 3–5 years of experience in electromechanical/electronics components management.
• Strong negotiation skills.
• Proven experience in procurement/purchasing/supply chain in a technical/manufacturing environment.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluency in English.

Aufgaben

• Designs and implements purchasing and logistics strategies to optimize costs, quality, delivery and reliability of suppliers and supplied products.
• Supports the Procurement Manager in implementing effective local sourcing strategies in line with division's strategy.
• Applies and implements procurement standards, tools, and processes to secure quality, delivery, cost, and sustainability.
• Tracks supplier performance KPIs, quality issues, procurement processes and activities and creates/reports updates per ABB standards.
