Job summary

The Hershey Company is seeking a Procurement Specialist to own end-to-end contract creation, validation, and maintenance within trading and ERP systems. The role ensures negotiated terms, pricing components, and supplier data are accurately reflected across platforms such as iRely/I-21 and SAP S/4HANA.

You will coordinate with Procurement, Materials Management, Finance, Trading, and IT to resolve data integration issues and support smooth purchasing operations.

Qualifications

• Must have experience in procurement or commodity trading operations.
• Proficiency with ERP or trading systems (e.g., SAP S/4HANA, iRely/I‑21, Source‑to‑Pay tools, Ariba).
• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Ability to interpret commercial terms, pricing formulas, contract conditions, procurement documentation, and downstream impacts.

Responsibilities

• Own the creation, entry, validation, and ongoing maintenance of procurement contracts in the trading system, ensuring alignment with negotiated terms and approved sourcing decisions.
• Interpret and apply contract data including pricing structures, ratios, futures components, sustainability premiums, Incoterms, delivery schedules, tolerances, vendor details, and other commodity-specific requirements.
• Perform independent quality checks prior to contract release and identify missing or inaccurate data that could impact downstream processes.
