Exyte Switzerland AG is seeking a Process Field Engineer (m/f/d) to lead installation and commissioning of process packages in pharmaceutical and biotech projects. You will act as the key interface among engineering, construction teams, contractors, and clients, ensuring quality, schedule, and compliant execution on-site in Switzerland.

The role requires a degree in a relevant engineering discipline, strong coordination of multi-disciplinary teams, and fluency in German and English.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in process engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology or life sciences projects.
• Solid understanding of process equipment installation, construction execution and commissioning activities.
• Experience coordinating contractors and multidisciplinary project teams.
• Fluent in German and English; willingness to travel within Switzerland.
• Lean Construction or Lean Management experience is advantageous.

Aufgaben

• Act as primary contact for installation and commissioning of assigned process packages from construction through start-up.
• Ensure process systems and packages are delivered on time, within quality standards and project requirements.
• Support constructability reviews and contribute to design verification with the General Planner (GP).
• Coordinate and supervise construction activities, contractors, and suppliers on site.
• Develop and optimize construction concepts and execution plans; maintain execution plans.
• Review tender documentation, perform technical bid evaluations, and support procurement and contractor selection activities.
• Contribute to project reporting, schedule management, meeting documentation, and Lean initiatives.

• Act as the primary contact for the installation and commissioning of assigned process packages, ensuring successful delivery from construction through start-up
• Ensure process systems and packages are completed on time, within quality standards, and in line with project requirements
• Support constructability reviews and actively contribute to design verification processes together with the General Planner (GP)
• Coordinate and supervise construction activities, contractors, and suppliers across multiple process packages on site
• Develop and optimize construction and installation concepts while conducting construction process analyses and maintaining execution plans
• Review tender documentation, perform technical bid evaluations, and support procurement and contractor selection activities
• Contribute to project reporting, schedule management, meeting documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives, including Lean Construction methodologies

Show your expertise

• Degree in Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a comparable technical discipline
• Professional experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, life sciences, or other highly regulated industrial projects
• Solid understanding of process equipment installation, construction execution, and commissioning activitie
• Experience coordinating contractors and multidisciplinary project teams in a construction environment
• Familiarity with GMP-regulated facilities and a strong focus on quality, safety, and compliance requirements
• Fluent in German and English, with strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Willingness to travel within Switzerland
• Structured, proactive, and solution-oriented working style; experience with Lean Construction or Lean Management is an advantage
