Job summary

Lonza in Stein, AG, Switzerland, is seeking a Process Expert to support two sterile fill & finish lines. This fully site-based role requires collaboration with operators and cross-functional teams to ensure batch safety, quality, and on-time execution.

You will lead investigations, drive cleanroom practices, and support validations and improvements while working in a dynamic, high-precision environment.

Qualifications

• Must have aseptic manufacturing experience in GMP environments.
• Experience with fill/finish of drug products, especially vials.
• University degree in Life Science or Engineering.
• Experience with compounding, HAPI and audits is a plus.
• Fluency in English and German is required.
• Ability to move between tasks in a dynamic environment with strong collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Provide front line support to manufacturing and operators.
• Execute each batch safely, on time, per instructions and quality requirements.
• Support process validations, re-validations and short-term improvement projects.
• Lead investigations and deviations and determine solutions.
• Establish and maintain cleanroom management practices.
• Maintain inspection readiness and support internal/external audits.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement improvements.

What you’ll do:

• Provide front line support to manufacturing, working with the operator, focusing
• on manufacturing process and executing each batch safely, on time, in compliance with the batch instructions and quality requirements
• Support the execution of process validations, re-validations and short-termimprovement projects
• Lead product and process related investigations and deviations and determine solutions to fix
• Establish, promote, drive and maintain good cleanroom management practices
• Maintain processes at inspection readiness level and provide the necessary support in any internal or external audit
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to successfully implement improvements and new processes

What we’re looking for:

• Proven experience with aseptic manufacturing processes in a GMP environment is a must
• Experience with fill&finish processes of drug product (especially with vials) is highly desirable
• University degree in Life Science or Engineering
• Experience with Compounding processes are a plus. Experience with highly active pharmaceutical ingredients (HAPI) is a plus. Experience with audits are a plus.
• Fluency in English as well as fluency in German are a must
• Ability to agilely move between various tasks in a dynamic environment. You demonstrate strong collaboration skills and actively support your team members
