Job summary

Liebherr Machines Bulle SA in Bulle, CH, is seeking a Process Engineer (m/f/x) to establish timing standards using REFA and MTM, and to work on the shop floor to analyze assembly and machining processes.

You will set target standard times, propose improvements to reduce production cycle times, map the value stream with shop floor teams, and train operators and managers to adopt the new methods.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in mechanical/industrial/production engineering.
• At least 2 years of experience in time studies (REFA).
• Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and tools (5S, VSM, Kaizen, Standard Work, DMAIC).
• Additional Lean/Six Sigma training is a plus.
• Proficient in Excel and data analysis tools (Power BI, Minitab).
• Fluent in French and good English (B2).

Responsibilities

• Establish timing standards using REFA and MTM.
• Analyze assembly and machining processes on the shop floor.
• Set realistic target standard times.
• Suggest improvements to reduce production cycle times.
• Carry out multi-point analyses to identify waste and propose concrete improvements.
• Map the value stream with shop floor teams.
• Train and support operators and managers in adopting new standards.
• Document processes to ensure continuity and knowledge transfer.
