Job summary

LGT Capital Partners Ltd. invites outstanding students to join its Private Equity Summer Internship program in Switzerland near Zurich. Starting 1 July 2027 for 10–12 weeks, top performers may progress to a permanent role or the Private Equity Analyst Program.

You will work within the Capital Partnerships Investment Management team, gaining exposure to direct PE co-investments and primary fund investments. You will evaluate opportunities, build financial models, conduct industry and business

Qualifications

• Strong academic credentials in business, economics, finance or quantitative field.
• First practical experience through internships or student jobs in finance, investment banking, private equity, consulting or related field is advantageous.
• Solid understanding of financial statements, valuation concepts and fundamental business analysis.
• Motivation to learn about private equity, investment analysis and fund manager assessment.
• Excellent written and spoken English; additional languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in screening, analyzing, executing and monitoring co-investment opportunities.
• Perform financial analysis and modeling.
• Conduct industry research and business analysis.
• Support preparation of investment committee materials.
• Maintain internal databases ensuring data quality and accuracy.
