Job DescriptionThe LGT Capital Partners Private Equity Off-Cycle Internship Program is a unique opportunity for top performing students to gain first experience across the entire private equity investment process. The successful candidate would ideally start in March 2027 for 3 – 4 months . For high performers a progression to a permanent role or the Private Equity Analyst Program is a possibility. Among others, the intern joining the Capital Solutions Investment Team will:Support financial, market and business due diligence processes, including research, analysis and coordination of selected transaction workstreams;Contribute to the preparation of investment memoranda, including company analysis, valuation work and selected financial modelling tasks;Assist with valuation, modelling and analysis of private equity funds and portfolio assets;Support investment committee and team discussions by preparing analyses, materials and discussion inputs;Participate in management meetings where appropriate, and assist with investment monitoring activities;Help identify and assess attractive investment opportunities by conducting research and maintaining internal databases, systems and tools;Prepare materials for internal meetings and external client presentations, and support ad-hoc market analysis.RequirementsWe are looking for candidates with:strong academic credentials, currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in business, economics, finance, accounting or another quantitative field, ideally in your penultimate year of study with expected graduation in summer 2027 or 2028;first practical experience through internships or student jobs in finance, investment banking, private equity, consulting or a related field is an advantage;a solid understanding of financial statements, valuation concepts and fundamental business analysis;a strong motivation to learn about private equity, investment analysis and transaction execution across direct and secondary investment opportunities;curiosity, analytical thinking and willingness to work with both quantitative and qualitative information on private equity funds and portfolio companies;excellent written and spoken English; additional languages are a plus;a collaborative, organized and proactive mindset, with eagerness to contribute and learn in a fast-paced investment environment.Kindly note that visa sponsorship is not provided for this role.Please upload your complete application documents: CV, motivation letter, diplomas, grade transcripts and any available reference letters.Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis.
