Job summary

OWT is seeking a Principal Architect to drive transformation across Swiss organizations from Lausanne or Geneva. You will architect scalable, secure cloud-native solutions with AI, lead end-to-end projects, and translate business needs into pragmatic ADRs and guidelines.

You will mentor teams, champion DevSecOps, and shape the tech strategy with modern patterns like microservices, event-driven, and hexagonal architectures. Fluent French/English required.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in software architecture across large-scale projects.
• Expert in modern patterns: microservices, event-driven, hexagonal, clean architecture.
• Strong design principles: SOLID and DDD.
• Hands-on with AI integration, LLMs, RAG pipelines, and agentic systems.
• Proficient in Java Spring Boot or .NET stacks and cloud/container tech.
• Fluent in French and English (C1); German is a plus.

We are strengthening our team of experts and looking for a passionate Principal Architect to drive transformation across leading Swiss organizations, based in either our Lausanne or Geneva office of your choosing.

Your mission

• Architect and deliverscalable, secure, and business-aligned cloud-native solutions, including containerized architectures and CI/CD pipelines, with integrated AI capabilities

• Leadend-to-endarchitecture on complex projects, from pre-sales to production deployment, ensuring timely delivery and client satisfaction

• Define strategicarchitectural decisionsand act as the technical interface between teams and stakeholders, translating business needs into pragmatic solutions and producing associated documentation (ADRs, guidelines)

• Actively participate indevelopment(code reviews, POCs, AI pipeline design, critical components) while ensuring overall technical consistency

• Contribute to internal capability building throughmentoring, AI technologymonitoring, and best practice improvements

• 10+ years in software architecture across large-scale projects, with solid expertise in modern patterns (microservices, event-driven, hexagonal, clean architecture) and design principles (SOLID, DDD)

• A genuine passion for AI and hands-on experience designing or integrating LLM APIs, RAG pipelines, and agentic systems

• Excellent background in eitherJava Spring Boot or .NETstacks

• Experience building scalable and resilient systems using cloud and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, Azure, AWS)

• Demonstrated technical leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills across business and IT teams

• Hands-on experience withDevSecOps,CI/CD,observability, and applicationsecurity(OWASP, authentication/authorization, encryption)

• Fluency in French and English (minimum C1 level); German is a plus
