Hitachi Energy Semiconductors in Lenzburg invites a motivated engineer to join the Product Evaluation & Qualification team. You will design, integrate, and commission electrical test systems for characterization, validation, and qualification of power semiconductor devices and modules.

Collaborate with R&D, laboratories, and external partners to strengthen our laboratory and test infrastructure. This role offers broad exposure to power electronics, qualification activities, and innovative energy

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics or a related field.
• Experience in system engineering, hardware integration, or test engineering.
• Solid understanding of power electronics and electrical measurement systems.
• Hands-on experience with commissioning, troubleshooting, and laboratory equipment.
• Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and technical drawings.
• Strong communication skills and fluency in English.

Aufgaben

• Develop and integrate electrical test systems for power semiconductor characterization and evaluation.
• Lead the design of solutions for high‑power testing applications.
• Commission, troubleshoot, and optimize laboratory test equipment.
• Collaborate with R&D teams to support product development and validation.
• Integrate measurement systems, sensors, power supplies, and automation solutions.
• Define system requirements and coordinate activities with external partners.
• Investigate equipment failures and support root cause analysis activities.
• Create technical documentation, specifications, and test procedures.
