Job summary

EPFL's INSTANT-LAB invites applications for a postdoctoral research position in advanced flexure-mechanism design. The role focuses on developing a design and modelling framework for flexure-based mechanisms addressing performance criteria and manufacturing tolerances, with industrial collaboration.

The successful candidate will build on 14+ years of expertise, publish in leading journals, and work with an industrial partner on load cells, in Neuchâtel EPFL campus.

Qualifications

• PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Microengineering, Robotics, or closely related field.
• At least two peer-reviewed journal publications.
• Strong experimental and hands-on skills; ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Develop analytical and numerical models for flexure-based mechanisms.
