Zusammenfassung

Université de Lausanne (UNIL) invites applications for a PostDoc in the Department of Fundamental Neurosciences to study neuronal circuit mechanisms of vigilance during sleep in mice, using sleep recordings, circuit tracing, calcium imaging and manipulation.

The successful candidate will apply state-of-the-art sleep recordings and neural signal analysis, with opportunities to expand 2P imaging and neuropixel recordings, and will contribute to training and manuscript preparation.

Qualifikationen

• PhD in life sciences, preferably neuroscience.
• Advanced understanding of neural circuit function and brain state dynamics.
• Basic knowledge in computational analysis with experience coding (Matlab, Python).

Aufgaben

• Train and mentor graduate students.
• Prepare and review manuscripts and grant applications.
• Contribute to development of analytical tools for sleep and neural signal analysis.
• Support projects using sleep recordings, imaging, and single-cell physiology.
