The Swiss Trade Union Confederation (USS) invites an Economist (80–100%) to join its central secretariat in Bern. You will drive economic policy files, develop positions, monitor legislation, and represent USS with Parliament, administration, and in the public sphere.

You will engage with international bodies and collaborate in a small team, applying quantitative methods and political economy expertise to defend workers' interests.

Qualificações

• Holds a university degree in political economy with several years of experience.
• Deep knowledge of federal politics and the union world.
• Familiar with working in organisational bodies and building networks.

Responsabilidades

• Develops positions, monitors legislative procedures and represents USS on commissions and in public.
• May also represent USS in international bodies.
