Job summary

Google LLC in Zurich is seeking a Privacy Engineer III to help strengthen the integrity of our platforms by designing privacy-preserving solutions and evaluating engineering designs for privacy impact. You will partner with product and security teams to balance risk and uphold regulatory requirements.

You will build and review privacy tooling, conduct data governance assessments, and document decisions to guide engineering practices across Android and Google services used worldwide.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience designing solutions that enhance privacy posture by analyzing engineering designs and influencing stakeholders.
• 2 years of experience applying privacy technologies and customizing solutions to meet organizational needs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct technical and quantitative analysis to drive scalable, data-driven privacy decisions.
• Design, architect, and lead implementation of privacy-enhancing solutions with engineering teams.
• Conduct privacy impact assessments and bridge data regulations with governance and engineering practices.
• Develop, maintain and publish design or technical documentation to drive consistency in privacy decisions.
