Zusammenfassung

Nicoll Curtin is seeking a skilled Platform Engineer to join our client’s growing infrastructure team in Basel, helping build, operate and enhance the technology foundation powering AI and data-driven initiatives.

You will architect and deploy platform services for AI workloads, manage Kubernetes-based environments, and develop automation for provisioning and monitoring, with a focus on reliability and on-call readiness in a modern cloud-native setup.

Qualifikationen

• Proven experience in platform engineering, systems administration, or infrastructure operations in enterprise environments.
• Strong Linux administration expertise, ideally in RHEL environments.
• Hands-on scripting and automation using Python, Bash/Shell, or Ansible.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, deploy, and optimise platform services that support AI, machine learning, and GPU-intensive workloads.
• Manage and enhance containerised environments using Kubernetes and related cloud-native technologies.
• Develop automation solutions for provisioning, configuration management, monitoring, and platform lifecycle management.
• Ensure platform reliability through proactive monitoring, capacity planning, performance tuning, and incident management.
• Support production environments through operational readiness activities and on-call participation when required.

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience in platform engineering, systems administration, or infrastructure operations within enterprise environments.
• Strong expertise in Linux administration, ideally within Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) environments.
• Hands-on experience with scripting and automation using technologies such as Python, Bash/Shell, or Ansible.
• Solid knowledge of container orchestration platforms, particularly Kubernetes, Terraform or OpenShift and GPU
• Hands-on experience in Prometheus and Grafana
