Focuslight Technologies Inc. in Switzerland invites applications for a Process Engineer specializing in plasma etching. You will ensure daily production, organize and maintain production flow, and collaborate with lithography and metrology to drive process improvements.

You will work with dry etching (RIE), thin films, and metrology, train and supervise operators, and develop working instructions to minimize downtime and costs in a high-vacuum environment.

Qualifikationen

• B. Sc. / M. Sc. in Microtechnology or related field.
• Interest in microtechnology, manufacturing methods and analysis.
• Knowledge of dry etching (RIE), thin films and metrology a plus.
• Proficiency with common computer tools (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Autonomous, thorough, punctual, and strong teamwork.
• Knowledge of technical English; mechanical skills a plus.

Aufgaben

• Ensure daily production, organize, implement and maintain production process flow.
• Improve existing Plasma RIE etching processes to reduce production costs and increase production capacity.
• Establish reliable plasma etching machine identify and prevent machine failure.
• Investigate operational problems affecting production, detect non conformities, report and recommend.
• Diagnose, inspect, and perform maintenance on machines, installations, and equipment to minimize downtime.
• Create, update working instructions, process documents.
• Cooperate with lithography and metrology department for process improvements.
• Train and supervise operator/technician staff.
