ETH Zürich's Neurotechnology Group invites applications for PhD candidates to advance a focused ultrasound-driven drug delivery platform toward clinical translation.

You will develop next-generation ultrasound systems, perform preclinical validation, and collaborate with clinicians across ETH Zurich, University Hospital Zurich, and related institutes to enable targeted brain therapies.

Qualifikationen

• Master's degree in one of the listed disciplines.
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
• Experimental laboratory experience in relevant fields.
• Programming experience in Python, MATLAB, C++, or similar.

Aufgaben

• Develop next-generation focused ultrasound systems and integrative platforms.
• Contribute to preclinical validation in rodent and large-animal models.
• Collaborate with clinicians to prepare first-in-human studies.
• Work on closed-loop control, imaging, and data analysis.
• Coordinate cross-disciplinary tasks across ETH Zurich and partners.
