ETH Zurich invites exceptional candidates to apply for a PhD position in pioneering bioelectronic and electrical conversion research at the D-BSSE in Basel. The project sits at the intersection of synthetic biology, nanotechnology, and bioelectronics, within a world-class environment.

Candidates will work on closed-loop bioelectronic interfaces, metabolic regulation, and real-time monitoring, combining biology, materials science and electrical engineering.

Qualifikationen

• Background in physics, chemistry, or materials science with interest in bioelectronics.
• Experience with computational simulations or modelling is desirable.
• Strong academic record and willingness to pursue an academic/industrial R&D career.
