Randstad seeks a Professional Process Engineer to join the Operations Engineering team in Basel. You will handle process utilities, contribute to capital projects, and ensure GMP compliance while supporting API production in a cross-functional setting.

The role requires a degree in a relevant field, initial GMP/pharma experience, and strong IT skills with fluency in German and English. A collaborative, solution-driven professional mindset and ability to work in a performance-oriented environment

Qualifikationen

• University degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
• Initial experience in the GMP & pharma sector.
• Generally very good IT skills: Microsoft, Google.
• Fluent German and good spoken and written English skills.
• Positive mindset, integrity, self-reflection, and strong teamwork capabilities.
• Open to new ideas and willing to challenge conventional thinking in a performance-oriented environment.

Aufgaben

• Develop and implement process engineering solutions and optimizations
• Responsible for adherence to timelines, costs, and achieving project goals
• Ensure and maintain compliance with cGMP guidelines within capital investment projects and operations engineering
• Responsibility for optimizations, modifications, and technical support for complex chemical and biotechnological plant systems, as well as executing capital investment projects from initial project definition to handover to the operator
• Responsible for API production (batch processes and continuous manufacturing)
• Collaboration within project teams in an interdisciplinary technical environment
