Actalent, Basel-based, seeks a Process Engineer/Betriebsingenieur to lead process engineering initiatives in pharmaceutical environments. You will develop solutions, manage project timing and costs, and ensure cGMP compliance across investment projects and operations.

The role covers optimization, modifications, and technical support for complex chemical and biotechnological plants, including API production via batch and continuous processes, within an interdisciplinary team.

Qualifikationen

• University degree or equivalent in process engineering, chemical engineering, pharmaceutical engineering, or a comparable field.
• Initial experience in the GMP & pharmaceutical sector.
• Very good general IT skills (Microsoft Office, Google Suite).
• Fluent German and good English skills, both written and spoken.

Aufgaben

• Develop and implement process engineering solutions and optimizations
• Responsible for adherence to deadlines, costs, and the achievement of project goals
• Compliance with and assurance of cGMP requirements within the framework of investment projects and operational engineering.
• Responsibility for both optimizations and modifications as well as for the technical support of complex and demanding chemical and biotechnological plants and the realization of investment projects from initial project definition to handover to the operator
• Responsible for active pharmaceutical ingredient (API) production (batch processes as well as continuous manufacturing processes)
• Collaboration in a project team in an interdisciplinary technical environment
