Helvetica Partners is seeking a Hardware Engineer specialized in PCB design in the Zurich region with some remote work. You will design PCBs for test and calibration equipment and manage the hardware lifecycle from concept to production readiness.

The role requires hands-on PCB design expertise, strong Altium skills, and collaboration with production and industrialisation teams. German on-site and English ability are valued.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or HF/TS qualification or equivalent.
• Hands-on experience in PCB design and hardware engineering for test, measurement or calibration systems.
• Expert skills in Altium Designer and Altium 365 with experience in design and collaboration workflows.
• You enjoy working close to production with a pragmatic, results-oriented mindset and want to see hardware work in real environments.
• German at least B1/B2 to work on site; professional English is a strong plus.

Aufgaben

• Design PCBs for test and calibration equipment used in production, focusing on reliability, measurement quality and safety.
• Take responsibility for the full hardware lifecycle, from concept to production readiness and industrialisation.
• Continuously improve performance, quality and robustness of existing hardware designs.
• Work with sensor, industrialisation and production teams to ensure smooth integration into manufacturing lines.
