Qualifikationen

• Recognised professional accounting qualification or advanced degree in accounting, finance or business administration.
• Minimum of seven years in financial accounting, control, audit or finance operations.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP FER and Swiss foundation law; experience with internal controls and tax compliance.
• Experience managing outsourced accounting and working in international, multi-currency donor environments.
• Ability to supervise staff and provide finance business partnering across departments.

Aufgaben

• Oversee general ledger, trial balances, journals and reconciliations; coordinate with outsourced provider.
• Lead monthly, quarterly and year-end close with timelines and quality standards.
• Ensure policies, coding structures and allocation rules are applied consistently.
• Monitor payroll-related controls, reconciliations and accounting entries.
• Coordinate statutory and tax submissions and support audit processes.
• Provide finance business partnering to Operations Heads and HR.
• Supervise finance staff and collaborate with FP&A and programme finance teams.
