Job summary

coni + partner ag, with headquarters in Zurich, is seeking a Paralegal to join the asset management unit in Zurich. The role focuses on fund structuring, regulatory compliance, and cross-border distribution matters for international funds.

The successful candidate will work closely with internal teams and investors, supporting contract management and legal reporting while maintaining fund documentation and meeting minutes. Excellent English and German language skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Law or Paralegal.
• Experience in a comparable function in funds or asset management distribution channels.
• Experience working with authorities (e.g., FINMA, FMA, AIFM, GFSC).
• Generalist knowledge of fund contracts, documentation and compliance (KYC/AML, cross-border, UCITS).
• Dynamic all-rounder with strong organizational skills and independent, results-oriented work ethic.
• High professionalism towards internal and external stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and courteous manners.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for registration of investment funds with FINMA and acts as contact for foreign funds in Switzerland.
• Ensure compliance with legal requirements for Luxembourg, Cayman Islands, Singapore, etc.
• Analyse and evaluate cross-border distribution processes for investment funds.
• Handle regulatory questions on onboarding of fund managers (KYC/AML, tax compliance, due diligence).
• Update country-specific compliance lists for fund documentation and investor information.
• Serve as contact for internal stakeholders or investors.
• Support contract management and legal reporting by specialist teams.
• Maintain fund documents, contracts, minutes, and prepare general meetings.
• Manage ad hoc projects as needed.
