Alphia is a leading pet food manufacturer in Bern, Switzerland, seeking a packaging technician to maintain quality and operate packaging equipment on the assigned line. You will perform packaging tasks, label, stack, and ensure HACCP compliance and GMP adherence.

Qualifikationen

• Basic math and numeracy for packaging tasks.
• Ability to read and follow SOPs and GMP guidelines.
• Proficiency with Alphia Business Systems (JDE, IQS).
• Willingness to participate in ongoing safety training.

Aufgaben

• Package products in bags, boxes, or bulk containers; label and stack on pallets.
• Stack bags up to 50# and move from production area to pallet storage.
• Perform QA duties including data entry into IQS and monitoring HACCP compliance.
• Assist with product changeovers, cleaning, and sanitation; inspect before start-up.
• Perform basic troubleshooting on packaging equipment (Bemis 1/2, Parsons, Jem lines, palletizers, etc.).
• Support maintenance with preventive tasks and line improvements as needed.
• Maintain clean and organized work area and adhere to SOPs and GMPs.
