Job summary

coni + partner is seeking an Analyst Operational Risk for a private bank in Geneva. The role focuses on reviewing the risk management framework, identifying and monitoring risks, and preparing management and external risk reports for auditors and stakeholders.

Required qualifications include a Master’s or Bachelor’s, CIA or CPA, and experience in international banking with knowledge of Swiss regulations. Fluency in English and French is expected; German is a plus.

Qualifications

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• CIA or CPA certification.
• Experience as a risk process manager in an international bank.
• Knowledge of Swiss banking regulation.
• Strong teamwork and ability to work independently.
• Ability to manage projects under pressure.
• Residence in Switzerland required.
• English as well as French, German as an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing existing risk management framework and processes.
• Facilitating the process of identifying, evaluating, managing and monitoring risk across the bank including the development of risk management methodologies and tools.
• Maintaining a sound high level end to end understanding of relevant business processes, systems and related risks and consulting with business/control process owners on developing processes and controls to manage risks.
• Preparation of risk management reports for the regular management meetings and external risk reporting to auditors and stakeholders.
• Conducting regular reviews of relevant policies to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory standards, including liaison with internal and external auditors.
• Providing support, education and training to staff to maintain awareness of risk management and internal control within the organization.
