Zusammenfassung

Futron seeks an experienced Safety and Health Program Manager to lead construction safety on a Bern site in Switzerland. You will promote a safety culture, administer programs, educate workers, identify risks, and ensure compliance with federal and industry requirements.

The role covers leadership across the project, implementation of safety measures, and maintaining a safe environment for employees and subcontractors. Onsite work with office and field duties.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 5 years as a site construction safety manager on similar projects.
• At least 5 years dedicated to building construction safety with U.S. Government projects preferred.
• Completion of the 30-hour OSHA Construction Safety course.
• OSHA 510 certification required; OSHA 500 is a plus.
• Knowledge of EM 385-1-1 safety requirements for construction sites.

Aufgaben

• Stop imminent danger activities immediately and ensure corrective actions are communicated.
• Develop and implement project safety programs and training for personnel.
• Lead preconstruction safety meetings to identify and prepare for risks.
• Run weekly site safety meetings and conduct regular site assessments.
• Maintain safety documentation, records, and incident reports accurately.
• Assist incident investigations and ensure corrective actions are tracked.
