Zusammenfassung

Lonza Group AG in Visp, Switzerland, seeks an Equipment Engineer for Small Devices to ensure the readiness and reliability of critical equipment at the BioAtrium facility. This fully site-based, 6-month contract role focuses on maintaining manufacturing precision and safety.

You will drive lifecycle management, support continuous biopharma production, and serve as SME on CAPEX projects from design to commissioning, collaborating with Engineering, Operations, Quality and Validation to uphold

Qualifikationen

• 10+ years of engineering experience in pharma or biotech manufacturing.
• Proven expertise in equipment lifecycle management and reliability engineering.
• Experience with CQV/Validation (IV/IQ/OQ/PQ) and risk assessments.
• Strong GMP documentation, deviations, CAPAs, and change controls.
• Fluency in English; German is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Drive equipment lifecycle management and reliability for small utility and process devices.
• Minimize downtime through preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Lead SME on CAPEX projects for equipment design, procurement, installation, and commissioning.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Quality and Validation to ensure excellence.
• Troubleshoot deviations using RCA and implement CAPAs.
• Prepare and manage cGMP docs and audit readiness.
• Represent engineering during internal and external audits.
