You will install, configure, and decommission hardware, perform cabling, racking, and cross-connects, and coordinate with NOC and client teams. 2+ years in data centers and relevant certifications are a plus; on-site role with growth opportunities.

Qualifikationen

• 2+ years data center or IT infrastructure experience.
• Data center certifications (CDCP, CDCS, or similar) - preferred
• Network certifications (CCNA, CompTIA Network+) - preferred
• Familiarity with major colocation providers - preferred
• Strong cabling skills (Cat5e/6/6a, single-mode/multi-mode fiber)
• Experience with server hardware (Dell, HP, Supermicro)
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in raised floor environments
• Professional communication skills in English

Aufgaben

• Perform hardware installations, decommissions, and migrations.
• Execute structured cabling (copper and fiber optic).
• Conduct server racking, stacking, and labeling.
• Perform cross-connects and patch panel work.
• Troubleshoot connectivity and hardware issues.
• Document all work with photos and detailed notes.
• Coordinate with remote NOC and client teams.
