Job summary

You will mentor teams, lead cross-functional projects, and drive improvements aligned with ABB's global initiatives.

The role focuses on safety, lean manufacturing, PPAP, and cost reduction, with strong emphasis on training and capability development for local staff.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Business Engineering/Production or equivalent is required.
• 2+ years in production engineering, with a focus on Power Electronics assemblies.
• Strong knowledge of continuous improvement tools (FMEA, Lean, 5S, Yamazumi, VSM, ABC XYZ).
• Experience with SAP, BOM analysis and optimizing work cycles.
• Commitment to safety and workplace standards.

Responsibilities

• Support deployment of the continuous improvement strategy for the local unit.
• Mentor and coach teams to achieve operational excellence.
• Lead projects to enhance and sustain local business performance.
• Align local improvements with ABB's global initiatives.
• Develop training modules and toolkits for capability building.
• Oversee PFMEA, production line setups, tooling, and line feeding of material.
