San Diego Community College District invites applications for Adjunct Nursing faculty to support college credit courses district-wide. Assignments may include day, evening, weekend, and off-campus classes. Candidates should meet minimum qualifications and be eligible for BRN licensure; selection is for potential fall, spring, or summer needs.

Applicants must provide official transcripts, TB certificate, Live Scan clearance, and eligibility proof. This pool does not guarantee immediate openings.

Qualifikationen

• Degrees must be from accredited institutions.
• Master’s in nursing or Bachelor’s in nursing with Master’s in health education/health science or BRN-equivalent.
• Minimum qualifications as set by BRN include nursing degree and clinical/teaching experience.
• Foreign degrees require evaluation by a recognized credential service (NACES or ECIE) and submission with application.

Aufgaben

• Provide instruction with established curriculum and course outlines (lecture and lab).
• Be available to students outside of class time.
• Maintain professional conduct and ethics; keep current knowledge in nursing.
• Fulfill responsibilities of a part-time/temporary faculty member; teach all scheduled classes.
• Maintain accurate records and assess student progress.
